Brown’s Beach House is one of my favorite restaurants at the @Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island of Hawaii. Here are Softshell Crabs on a bed of lobster fried rice, served on the edge of the sea.
The Big Island Film Festival kicked off last night with a Reception at the Fairmont Orchid hosted by Mayor Billy Kenoi. Stars, Directors and Producers from many of the films featured at the festival mingled with VIP guests and were treated to Hula by a Waimea Halau. The festival continues through Monday evening, come on and join in the fun. Many of the films are free and family friendly.
